December is coming to a close already, and it feels like
it should only be the second week to me! Christmas came and went so fast this year,
I just feel like I missed out on getting to sit back and really enjoy it.
Do you ever feel that way?
Anywho, I’ve come across a lot of new products that I’m really starting to love this month,
and this will be a little less about makeup (though there will be some!) and more about
things that I’ve been finding really comforting/cozy in the cold.
First off is this beanie. It’s so sparkly and beautiful and I can’t seem to take it off.
I really love the way it looks and it keeps my head toasty, because who wants to start
2014 with a head cold? Not me!
Honestly, this was a gift to my mother, but I sort of fell in love with it and stole it for a day or two..I don’t think she minds, though. My sister made it for her and I’m begging her
to make one for me as well!
em cosmetics is a cosmetic brand started by Michelle Phan. If any of you follow beauty gurus
on YouTube, I’m sure you know enough about her that you’ve already heard of/purchased
things from her line!
This is a lip balm/gloss and I use it every day. I was afraid that it would be drying to my lips
at first, but it is surprisingly hydrating.
I also thought that it would be too shiny or make my lips look too “pinky”, but it
gives a beautiful subtle tint to lips and gives long lasting moisture as well.
What more could you want in a lip balm?
I am ordering a few more products from em because I loved this so much, I can’t imagine
being disappointed with anything else! We will have to wait and see, right?
My Spokas have stolen my heart. I received this one for my birthday and the next one
as a Christmas present. I love them both so much, they help me sleep!
They change colors and emit such beautiful light throughout my room,
it helps to relax me and get me ready to go to sleep.
I use this guy a little more often at night, simply because I like the blue/purple
hues that he does! Sooo relaxing…
Aren’t they so cute? I haven’t tried them together before this, but I really liked it.
It was like a light show in my room. Perhaps I’m a little too addicted to them…
Do you have one of these?
Do you love yours as much as I love mine?
Mmmm..Warm comfy cozy sandals of wonderfulness.
They have saved my feet this winter. I’m usually bare footed and
frozen to the bone! I can no longer live without these.
Need I say more?
Last up is a book that I haven’t been able to put down, which is a pity because
it’s so easy to get through the entire book. I don’t think I’ve seen a chapter
over 3 pages. But I like that as well, because when I need a quick daily
pick-me-up, I need one chapter and I feel better.
Ellen is really good for that, though, isn’t she?
Here, I’ve taken the time to photograph an
entire chapter to entice you into reading this book! Did it work?
New Years is coming soon, do you make resolutions or do you think it’s best
to just keep trying to improve overall?
I have some specific things that I want to focus on, but I’ll do a post on that after
the celebrations are over!
I truly hope that 2013 has been a good year for all of you.
It has been a challenging, scary, and fulfilling year for me. I’m hoping
that 2014 is full of opportunities, growth and happy memories.
Wishing all of you wellness, love, and happiness in your lives.
See you in 2014!!!
