I’m sorry I’ve been absent for so long.
My cat got neutered and I also took a wonderfully painful tumble
down the stairs in my house.
Needless to say, it’s been hard taking care of him while I’m
still getting better.
(No broken bones, though!)
Let’s start the review!
Today I’ll be reviewing The Powder from La Mer.
La Mer is a brand that I am still fairly new to, but I really love this product.
It is a finishing powder, almost like the Mineral Veil from Bareminerals.
Except I find this one to be much better.
“La Mer The Powder” has become one of the top on my list, because it does so many things.
Yes, this product is expensive ($65USD), but you get so much product that
in my opinion, it saves you a lot of money!
A little truly does go a long way with this stuff, so it lasts for a very long time.
I have had mine for months and I am still not even close to halfway
finished with it.
It has actually helped improve my complexion as well, even after I’ve taken it off.
I’ve noticed that my skin has a more even tone overall, and it feels
a lot softer. Not to mention it comes with this adorable
compact powder pad that is extremely
soft and lightweight.

I was afraid that the product would go flying everywhere when I
dabbed product onto the sponge and patted it on my face, but
I was extremely surprised at how well it stayed in place on the compact
as well as on my face.
It doesn’t smudge or move around a lot, and it certainly didn’t settle into
any lines on my face.
I know the powder looks a little orange-ish, but that is just
the color of the compact. It really is a wonderful translucent shade, but
they have more shades than just translucent.
I wanted something to help set my makeup without adding more color to my face
so the translucent was the one for me!

These before and after pictures show what a different even just a little dusting
of this product can do. Worth it?
I certainly think so.
For everything this product does, I think it is well worth the price.
And you get a huge amount of the powder for your money.
So if you’re in the market for a bit of a splurge on a new setting powder,
I can’t recommend any one I’ve tried more than this!
