Season

The city always starts to glow around this time of the year. I don’t know what I would do without it, when these winter-y evenings can seem so cold and lonely. There is something so comforting in wandering underneath the radiance of  twinkling lights. Lately I find great solace in wandering alone amidst the “holiday hustlers” around town. I just hope I find enough time in between everything else to enjoy the sweet treats, crowds, and even the cold before it’s over. This year has flown by, and the older I get, the faster each year goes.
