I’m so anxious for Spring to be here, even though we are just in the dead of winter where I live. Winter always makes me feel like I’m falling short. I miss the budding flowers, the smell of grass starting to come out of hibernation. Maybe it’s just me, but I always feel like I come out of winter paler and more tired than the winters before.
Warmth of sunlight, strawberry lemonade, rosé wine, sandals, venturing the mountains with dear friends, when the light comes pouring in to the room, and you look up to see the slight breeze just outside your window, beckoning you outside.. these things perk me up on a daily basis.
I barely have time to eat and sleep these days. But I’ve been lucky enough to further my freelance work and that is something that has always been very important to me. At the same time, it seems that I run around working until I’m too dizzy to keep going.
So I hope you enjoy these little snaps for what I wore to a day of meetings.
I have always been told to “dress for the occasion”, but lately I find I am much more inclined to dress for the day. It is, after all, about what makes you feel good, right?
wow i really like that skirt. you be sure to take breaks and not over work yourself. a little time to yourself is very important. don’t want to burn out
You’re so pretty! Love the style and completely agree about winter making you crave for the summer – bring on the sunshine! xx
Thaaank you! But you are one to talk, you are the fairest of them all! Yes, I’m desperate for warm weather. It’ll be here soon enough! We can make it! 🙂
This is an anthropologie skirt, right? I think I remember seeing it at the end of last year…? It’s so so so pretty!
Yep, that’s right! Great eye! I couldn’t say no to it.
I can’t wait for Spring to come also. I miss sun, eating outdoors, and spring dresses. Spring is WAY easier to dress for.
I’m with you on the whole cozy, casual, yet stylish look ❤️
