We’ve all been there. Everyone seems to have their own little magic tricks for getting that perfectly shaped eyeliner, whether it is a cat eye or tight lining (I’m still working on that one). I thought I’d talk a little bit about my new holy-eyeliner-grail product that has really helped me get the type of line I want.
I haven’t tried many new products out recently, but on the repeated requests of my friend, I decided to try a few new things out. This gel eyeliner blew me away!
For some people, applying with a brush may not be the easiest way. However, it works the best for me! So if you are like me and are more steady-handed with a brush than a pen or pencil (flashbacks of “smudged” eyeliner in my high school days…yikes), then I can’t recommend this eyeliner enough!
I’m using Bobbi Brown – Black Ink
This is the first eyeliner I have successfully been able to tight line my eyes with. Minus stabbing myself multiple times, that is.I like to keep the line very thin toward the inner corners of my eyes. The closer to the outer corner I get, the thicker I like it to be, so I add gradual volume to the line. I find this helps to accentuate or even help fake an almond shaped eye.

Oooh I really want to try this! I’ve been using liquid eyeliner for years but my wings could definitely be better!
Also your product photos are so cute!

That’s so sweet of you. Thank you so much, Brianna! I like liquid liner too, but this is just so much easier for me. It’s worth a try, right? You never know!

Really loved this post! Your pictures are so effortless and I like the contrast of the white background with the black products and hints of colour coming into each photo. The Bobbi Brown gel liner looks so good and the tight lining really suits you.
