It’s about that time again. When Spring begins and the clock moves faster. I am trying to savor every moment of this (so far) beautiful season. I know how fleeting it can be. Afternoons spent basking in the sun are a main source of pleasure these days. That is, when I can find the time to step out and enjoy it!

So of course when I received this beautiful dress from eShakti, I would consider myself a fool if I didn’t take the opportunity to spend a Spring afternoon taking in the sun, sprouts, and budding blossoms in one of the softest dresses I’ve had the pleasure to own. You can also customize your pieces to your liking, which really surprised me. I chose the length for this dress based on my current obsession with longer hems, and I have to say I am not disappointed!

I am a sucker for little accents, and this dress has just the right amount of them. The pops of yellow remind me of the flowers just beginning to grow, offering a peek of the colors to come.

I think there is something magical about those days when that warm wind blows a familiar scent my way, and having a perfect spring dress on seems to make everything feel a little more magical. It is the perfect injection to warm my winter-laden veins and wake me up to the beauty unfolding around me. I promise I’ll pay attention to it every year, but I can never quite get enough of it all the same. These days, even though there are so many things on that silly list, and time is short and ever-disappearing, I can’t help but find myself walking a little further, getting lost a little more, finding any excuse possible to stay out just a little longer.
