Blue

 

What should a girl wear when summer is literally mere days away? Blue is always one of my favorite colors, but it is a tough thing to let go of the comfortable shield a bulky sweater can give, but let’s face it..unless you want to pass out from heat exhaustion it isn’t a good idea in these temperatures. But I wore this one anyway, because there is nothing like a sweater that swallows you up. I’ll keep it in the back of my mind until fall, when undoubtedly it will be seeing the light of day often.

 

Summer has long been a magical season for me. And with the dark cloud of doubt and worry finally lifted, I feel as though I can take a deep breath and really fill my lungs with my good old optimistic self. She is coming back, one day at a time.

I should have some interesting photos coming soon, more than just snapshots of me. If all goes to plan, I’m going to take my mother out this weekend for a Saturday evening in the past. No reason, she just deserves it.
