VIIcode O2M Eye Mask

Sheet masks have long been a “thing” of mine. I’ve always thought they were refreshing and relaxing after a long day, so when I was invited to review the VIIcode O2M Eye Mask, I was excited, to say the least! It is a mask that you use on your under eye area two or three times a week (based on your preference or needs), and they are supposed to help reduce wrinkles, fine lines, discoloration and the “puffies” as I call them.  

These patches are made to stay on for quite some time, so it is a good idea to put them on after you’ve washed your face and are getting ready for bed. I am not a good example of this, because they did not stay put for me at all. I tend to be a stomach sleeper and these did not stay on for me at night. However, using them in the evenings when I am watching television or working was better as I wasn’t flailing around as much. Tossing and turning is a curse, I tell you!

If you are like me, though, I would recommend using an eye cover over the gels at night to help hold them in place!

There are 6 “jelly packets” in each box, but they say that to get the full fledged benefits of a full course treatment, you should buy 3 boxes. I found that these lightened the fine lines starting to appear around my eyes, but unfortunately my dark circles are hereditary, and downright stubborn. I didn’t notice much of a difference in my dark circles, but the skin under my eyes felt moisturized and happy, which seemed to help the crows feet go away. 

I must admit, I was slightly intimidated at first when I saw how long you are supposed to keep them on. However, it was cooling and relaxing for a big portion of the time. I didn’t keep them on for 8 hours, because I noticed my skin started to get a bit irritated and itchy if I left them on too long. 

These are a great eye mask to use when you are pampering yourself. Put them on, lay down in bed with a good book or magazine and just relax! I think you will be happy with the results if you are looking for a wrinkle aid, but I am not sure about the dark circles.
